Nicole Lu is a visual artist who graduated from Orange Coast College and California State University of Long Beach, where she gained experience in journalism, TV/film production, and documentary production.

Nicole became involved with New Atlantis soon after her longtime collaborator Spencer shared his creative idea with her in hopes to build it into a real company. After working alongside Spencer’s writer's room and other art students from CSULB, the first issue of Escape from Dough Mansion was published. Since 2021, she has been the head artist for New Atlantis.

In her free time, Nicole enjoys hanging out with dogs, crocheting, and cooking.
